The net profit attributable to shareholders was US$3.003 billion, compared with US$1.039 billion in the same period last year.
- Asahi Group Holdings, Ltd. announced its January-September 2020 results. Revenue for the current period was 1471.4 billion yen (approximately US$14.2 billion), compared with 1.55 trillion yen in the same period last year. Operating profit was 118 billion yen, compared with 159.8 billion yen in the same period last year. Net profit for the current period was 79.6 billion yen, compared with 112.9 billion yen in the same period last year.
- Kirin Holdings Company, Limited. announced its January-September 2020 results. The current revenue was 1,359.7 billion yen (approximately 13.1 billion U.S. dollars), compared with 1,437.8 billion yen in the same period last year. Operating profit was 130.3 billion yen, compared with 148.4 billion yen in the same period last year. Net profit for the current period was 71.8 billion yen, compared with 33.1 billion yen in the same period last year.
- The Carlsberg Group announced its sales in the third quarter of 2020. The total revenue for the current period was 17.3 billion Danish kroner (approximately 2.84 billion US dollars), compared with 18.5 billion Danish kronor in the same period last year.

- Japan Tobacco Inc. announced its 2020 third-quarter results. The current revenue was 561.9 billion yen (about 5.42 billion U.S. dollars), compared with 575.2 billion yen in the same period last year. Operating profit was 138.2 billion yen, compared with 129.3 billion yen in the same period last year. Net profit for the current period was 85.5 billion yen, compared with 89.7 billion yen in the same period last year.
